The facility is new and spacious. I am sure the doctors are all quite competent and even wonderful. But the office is poorly run! They mangle appointments. They ‘forget’ to pre-authorize key procedures (like PET scans). And in my case they didn’t even bother to try to pre-authorize my chemo until May 8th when I was scheduled to come in on May 9th. True to their total disorganized state, they left me a voicemail at 5PM saying the office was closed but to NOT come for chemo- it was cancelled. They would call back at 8AM. They did not call back at all - so at 8:45 I called and asked them to page the scheduler. I was put in hold and hung up or misdirected to other people’s mail boxes 2x. Finally I talked to the scheduler who told me the insurance had not authorized. Luckily in the time on hold I had called my insurance and discovered it was authorized. So I simply told them I was driving in and they better have their act together. What a mess and stressful situation for my first chemo. I wish I had gone to Anschutz instead. Oh - they also have no automated reminder page or call for your next appt. I think every surgeon in town has had this for years.
