Anton helped me today. Never in 25 years of shopping at Guitar Center has an employee help me so completely. Anton was helping another gentleman with some Les Paul guitars when I asked him if he would have a moment after he was done with that customer to help me with guitar strings. Like an absolute professional, Anton excused himself from that customer at an appropriate time while the customer analyzed some guitars and information that Anton had left him with. Anton spent a good 15 minutes with me, teaching me some things that I never knew about guitar strings. I have been playing for 30 years, and not just as a hobbyist. I'm a business owner and know a lot of business owners and Anton postured himself as if he owns this Guitar Center store. Truly a role model for all of the employees. I hope this review serves as a glowing recommendation for management to recognize and reward this fine person. Very impressed. Thank you, Anton.

My son and I go there very often and always have a great time. They have an awesome selection of new and used instruments and the staff members are friendly, professional ,very helpful and knowledgeable in all musical instruments. These guys are great!

To start, every staff member has been nothing but helpful however I want to highlight Malik specifically. My first trip into this guitar center Malik's charismatic personality led us to become friends. I have returned 3 separate guitars due to compatibility issues on my end and every single time Malik has helped me without question. The store is well stocked, bathroom is spotless, if there is something you want specifically they will get it for you. If you stop in be sure to ask for Malik, he will give you a great shopping experience for whatever instrument you may be buying.

BEST GC we've ever been to! Ty spent hours w my son to get the exact guitar and pedal he wanted and needed. Johnny, the manager, was phenomenal and ALL STAFF AWESOME!! Highly recommend. I will drive 7 hrs to this location for all future purchases!

Hurricane Ian caused significant damage to my house. Several guitars were floating in salt water for hours. Bobby P. at GC in N. Naples brought new life to 5 of my guitars that I finally got around to wanting restored. He was thorough, professional, knowledgeable and timely. The guitars play and look like new after top to bottom cleaning and hardware replacements! His friendly disposition made the whole experience a pleasure. I will gladly and enthusiastically recommend him to anyone who is looking for a 5- star guitar tech!

Good Afternoon,

I am writing to you today with great disappointment and dissatisfaction regarding the customer service I received during my most recent visit to one of your locations. Allow me to explain the reasons for my discontent.

On Thursday, January 2, 2025, I visited your store located at 13585 Tamiami Trail N #8, Naples, FL 34110, to address an issue with two speakers and other devices I purchased approximately 11 months ago. At the time of purchase, I was offered a 36-month protection and replacement plan for $20.99 per device, which would cover any damage or issues during that period. According to this agreement, I would either receive a replacement device or be reimbursed the full cost of the original purchase to apply toward a new one, with any necessary price difference covered by me.

Yesterday, I attempted to utilize the protection plan I paid for, but I encountered a highly unpleasant experience, including poor treatment from your staff, including the store manager. Not only was my situation unresolved, but they also refused to assign a different associate to assist me when I expressed my desire to make a purchase at the store.

The staff claimed that the protection plan I purchased was not applied to one of the speakers. However, let me explain the situation in detail. On the day of purchase, the store had only one speaker in stock. The associate who assisted me suggested that I place an online order for the second speaker, which would be shipped to my home. I purchased the in-store speaker along with its protection plan and placed the order for the second speaker with its protection plan as well. These transactions resulted in separate receipts but were processed on the same day at the store.

The staff’s argument yesterday was that the speaker shipped to my home was not covered by a protection plan, despite my assurance that I paid for both plans. I requested that they verify the details in their system, as I was confident in my claim. They provided me with both receipts, which I have attached for reference.
•    For the speaker purchased in-store, the receipt reflects a price of $58.03 for the speaker and $20.99 for the protection plan, totaling $79.02 before taxes.
•    For the speaker ordered for home delivery, the receipt reflects a total payment of $79.99 before taxes, which I believe includes the speaker and its protection plan.

The staff argued that the speaker delivered to my home cost $79.99 solely for the device, and the speaker purchased in-store was discounted to $58.03. However, this reasoning seems inconsistent. If the in-store speaker was discounted, the receipt should explicitly show the regular price and the discount applied. Furthermore, it is irrational to assume that the same device would have such a price disparity ($58.03 vs. $79.99) without additional clarification. Based on my receipts, the amount paid for the home-delivered speaker ($79.99) aligns with the total of the speaker and protection plan.

Despite presenting this evidence, I was not heard and was treated poorly by your employees. I am reaching out to request your understanding and resolution of this matter, as well as to address the unacceptable treatment I received. I would appreciate your prompt attention to this issue and hope appropriate measures are taken to ensure better service in the future.

The "luthier" told me he didn't have a tool small enough to set the soundpost in my daughter's 1/4 size violin. Bobby, there's only 1 size soundpost setting tool for violins. Don't assume your customers don't know anything. You could have just told me that you couldn't handle the job and that would have been fine, don't lie to people because then you lose their business permanently

The buying experience was great with a knowledgable person to help go through the well stocked store. 5 stars

The lesson experience is terrible. The person that coordinates lessons obviously does not want to be there and is of no help. I stopped by twice and each time left a message to be called back. I called twice and left message, and received no call back. Finally went back and managed to schedule first lesson. Went in for lesson, no one there except coordinator who says, "Oh, yeah, we had not cancel your lesson due to the hurricane (of a week earlier). I will call you tomorrow to reschedule it." As suspected, I didn't get a call." zero stars for the lessons.
