I am giving 4 stars because I have just had an initial visit. Dr. Maltese was very pleasant and easy to talk to and thorough. The office staff was polite and friendly. I had to find a new primary physician and I am glad I was referred to her. I didn’t feel rushed and I also found her easy to talk to.

Dr. Maltese is a remarkable physician: knowledgeable, professional and very warm and personable. She really listens, addresses my questions and concerns and is empathetic and clear in her explanations.
I highly recommend her. If you are in need of a highly trained and very kind PCP, make an appointment with her.

I am giving this 4 stars ONLY because Dr Maltese is amazing. However - her staff are HORRIBLE. They are rude and do not convey messages properly. I have tried to make an appointment a few times in the last few weeks and was told that I would not be seen until I was tested for COVID. Well I was tested. Staff would not schedule an appointment for me. I then asked for a prescription to be called in because I desperately needed it. I was then told that because I hadn’t seen Dr. Maltese in a long time they would not call on a prescription for me. Then referred me to a dr that I no longer see. ARE YOU KIDDING. So I now have to start the annoying process of finding a new PCP. All because of rude staff that won’t even let me schedule an appointment. Needles to say, I had to call Teladoc to get my prescription. Unbelievable

Dr Maltese is fabulous . She is caring , takes the time to listen to your concerns and has an excellent bed side manner . She’s comprehensive in her diagnosis, responds to calls immediately and is an asset to the Westchester County community ! So happy to have her as my PCP .

10 minutes late for an appointment at 4:00 due to traffic on Rt 9. It takes 3 months to get an appointment and they would not keep the appointment. The kid at the desk was so unaccomodating, it made me so riled. I could see if there was a waiting room full of patients. As usual there was not a single person waiting for their appointment.. They did call to see why I was not there yet as most doctor's do. Well they lost a patient due to rude reception guy and their inability to keep my appointment as I do not control the traffic on Rte 9. Thank you waiting my time. I will be at West Med from now on.

This office has done me so wrong. Dr Maltese and her partner have been negligent towards me. And she on more than one occasion. I get seriously sick, and haven't been taken seriously. A few weeks ago I saw the male doctor (dr Kerstetter) for the same problem. He called me a couple days later that the results were negative for infection. A few days later I am in terrible pain and call the office. I got a call from Dr Kerstetter and he informed that I have an infection, asked me if Dr Maltese hadn't called me with the results. He didn't understand why the results went to her when he'd been the one to see me. He called in antibiotics. Then I spoke to Dr Maltese a few days later to explain what had happened and she said it wasn't her call to check my results because she wasn't the doctor that saw me. They negleted to call me with results when I was in need of antibiotics and blamed each other. I know that she doesn't want me as a patient. There should be a way for a doctor to decline to continue seeing someone they don't want. Instead of putting them at risk. I've never been so mistreated. Today I was to get a call with results. I called at 4:15. Spoke to the receptionist, who put me on the phone with office manager (a man). He said Dr Maltese had gone for the day. I asked if another doctor could get hold of my results, because I was in severe pain for the last 3 days, and taking pain killers. He said that only Dr Maltese has access, but she would call me right back. I asked how she would get the results if she is not in the office. He said she has access to her computer where she is. He said that the office was closing at 6. When I called back at 5:15 the office was closed. No call from Dr Maltese.....For the first few years I felt well taken care by her......But now.....I have to look elsewhere. 🙁
